'Avenue of Colour'

I love walking through avenues of trees in the morning sun. Light bounces back from openings between the canopies, enticing me to wander forwards. Walking past the tall trunks, I feel distant echoes of protection afforded me by my grandfather's enormous legs, as I held his hand in determined search of 'beasts' in his runner bean stakes!
