'Boating Lake'

Along the flood plain of the River Severn, was a small boating lake which was a glorious setting for picnics in the height of the summer. The lake was very shallow, making it perfect for children to paddle their own canoe. New footpaths and cycle ways are being created to enhance the usefulness of the area at other times of the year.
