'Hereford Cathedral - Pink Sandstone' is the latest pastel painting to be added to the portfolio. This very colourful depiction of the cathedral was created in soft pastel by conservation artist Janice Lyall.
The colours are an exageration of those found within the stonework. Janice's favourite time of seeing colours is following short rain showers in Spring. That is when the air is fresh, there is often a slight breeze and the stones are drying very quickly.
